On Wednesday, 26th September 2012, a group comprising of TTI members and the Carrick-on-Shannon & District Historial Society travelled to Enniskillen Castle to attend the Official Launch of the Enniskillen 400 Exhibition by Harold Andrews, Vice-Chairman of Fermanagh District Council. Stephen Scarth, Head of Public Services, The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) provided an interesting presentation pertaining to the conservation of the historical documents. A rare document on loan from PRONI to Enniskillen Castle, a large scroll of the Pedigtree of William Cole (163) is a key component of the exhibition.
Fermanagh Museum has kindly agreed to loan some of the Enniskillen 400 Exhibition to Carrick-on-Shannon. It will be amalgamated with pieces from the TTI Adult History Programme to form part of the Carrick-on-Shannon 400 exhibition.
